On behalf of the entire congregation at St. Mark's, we want to welcome you and your family to our church! We hope that you will find St. Mark's to be a place where you can grow spiritually as an individual and as a part of our church community. We welcome you to explore the traditions of the Episcopal Church with us. When do we worship? Our services of Holy Eucharist are on Sunday mornings at 8:00am and 10:00am. The 8:00am service is a quiet, spoken service, without music. At 10:00am we sing hymns and often have guest musicians present. You can read more about our music program here.
Where is St. Mark's located? Our church is between Cleveland and Market Avenues, at the corner of 48th Street and Frazer Avenue. Click here for a map! What should I do, during a service, if I cannot figure out where in the Book of Common Prayer I should be looking? Try observing others or simply turn to someone beside or behind you to ask for help. We have all been there so do not feel embarased when asking for help!
Do I have to be an Episcopalian to partake of the sacraments (Christ's Body and Blood) at Holy Eucharist? No, The Episcopal Church welcomes all of those baptized, in any church, to partake of the sacraments of Christ's Body and Blood.
